Welcome! I’m Christie Kennedy, a top producing Realtor® with over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Over the span of my career, I have listed and sold properties in the entire New Orleans Metropolitan Area including: Metairie, New Orleans, Mandeville, Covington, Madisonville, Franklinton, Kenner, Harahan, River Ridge, Destrehan, Gretna, Chalmette and Slidell. Specific areas within those cities include: Uptown, Carrollton and Broadmoor, Garden District, Old Metairie, Lakeview, Lakefront, Bywater, Mid-City, Gentilly, English Turn, Venetian and Eden Isles. All of my clients know that I am genuinely interested in helping them either sell or find their dream home and that I consider it a privilege to assist them through this process. My marketing expertise is a benefit to my sellers, while my keen attention to detail and smooth negotiating skills result in bringing both my buyers and sellers to successful acts of sale.

MY SPECIALTY

Residential real estate sales is my forte. I thoroughly enjoy representing both buyers and sellers through the home buying and selling process. I have also listed commercial strip malls, medical buildings and apartment buildings. Homes that were once For Sale By Owners lacking in activity, netted my sellers more through listing with me than if they had sold their homes themselves and closed quickly.

I have had the good fortune of working with investors who have accumulated assortments of rental properties in their real estate portfolios.

PROPERTY RELOCATION

I have been a relocation specialist and continue to have wonderful experiences while getting to know my relocation clients as they set new roots into the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. I have assisted many individuals and employees in corporate relocations with the likes of Shell, Northrop Grumman and Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans. When helping someone through the relocation process, I carefully note those things that are important to my clients and, with my extensive knowledge of the entire Metro New Orleans Region, guide them to the area that appropriately suits their interests.

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES

I have lived in various parts of the New Orleans Metro area since my childhood and am happily married to the love of my life. My husband, John, and I have a great love for music as it is through music that we met many years ago. I was once a vocalist with a 15 piece big band for 15 years and had the honor of sharing the stage with him. Naturally, my favorite song is “Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans” as my heart lives in New Orleans. John and I enjoy dining with friends, exercising and vacationing at any beach. We especially enjoy the comradery with our friends when traveling to the different car races as John was once a high-speed driving instructor/racer and I was the Grid Marshal with the Porsche Club in our region. We also share a deep affection for animals. Our sweet cat is such a joy!

My hobbies include gardening, interior decorating and cooking.
